Attitude, Attitude, Attitude

Like all of us, my life has been filled with victories and defeats. I stopped keeping score about twenty three years ago when I was brought to my knees by alcohol and drugs. I nearly lost my life due to an automobile accident, lost my career, my home and was bankrupt financially, emotionally, spiritually and physically. I had truly hit my bottom.

I can humbly tell you that one day at a time and with a God of my understanding, I now have a winning attitude on a daily basis. My cup is always filled with gratitude and acceptance. I know today that I create the world I choose to live in and accept that my life plan needs adjustments regularly as God truly has the master plan. Do I always enjoy these adjustments? Surely not, but I no longer fight against them creating my own insanity and unmanageability. Today I accept that there are powers greater than me that I need to rely on to help get me through. I am not alone unless I choose to be.

My prayer for you today is that you choose to not be alone and that you journey inward to find a God that you trust, helps you get centered and that you can rely on in the eye of the hurricane. Your attitude in choosing will make the difference.
