The ABC’s of Achievement – V-W-X

Vision – Jonathan Swift said, “Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.” We all have visions. Each of us creates images of how we want our lives to look. We see the people we want to be with, draw landscapes of where we will live, make lists of what we want to fill our images and define what we want to accomplish. No one but me can create my vision and no one but me can see it as clearly as I can. No matter how hard I try and explain it to you, you cannot see it with my clarity just as I cannot see yours as you can. You know what? If you can’t see mine, you cannot tell me it makes no sense and you cannot deny me my vision of my life. My vision belongs to ME and yours belongs to YOU!!

Willingness – I have been told that my willingness to listen and grow is my greatest quality. I don’t know if that is true, but I do know that if someone who loves me tells me that it is my “greatest” quality, I ought to pay attention. What is willingness? Here we go again . . . each of us will define the term based on our experiences. For me, my willingness is to put myself into discomfort so I may grow and become a better person. It is the faith to get through the discomfort that allows me to integrate more parts of my inner core. When I am only willing to do the things I like, I do not grow. Are you willing to risk you to find you?

Xavierfontesena – One of the first types of living beings on Earth. Leave it to those who create words with meanings for us mere mortals. They couldn’t just use bug, insect, man, woman, homo sapiens, person or the like. Well, as we close in on the end of the alphabet, I have concluded that they used this word because it is apparent to me how complex living beings are and how much work we require to journey to wherever each of us are going. Had they used one of the simple terms, chances are pretty good that we would have approached our journey’s in a more simple and less thoughtful manner.

My prayer for you today is that you vision excessively, find your willingness to create what you vision and enjoy being a Xavierfontesena.

Put this on anyone’s page who made you smile somewhere sometime in your life. It may surprise you, but check out how many come back. Thanks a lot for making me smile!!!! Pass it on and change the world one smile at a time
