Vision

People only see what they are prepared to see. Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have learned in my life that vision has less to do with my eyes and more to do with my heart, soul, mind and faith. You and I could stand on the top of the Alps, both have 20/20 vision and one of us will see horizons, vistas, heaven, God, infinity, endless possibilities and the other will see snow.
One will look at the other in amazement of what you either see or don’t see and wonder what is wrong with you and wonder if you are both looking at the same thing. We are, I can assure you. I can also assure you that given a different scene, chances are pretty good that our vision would be reversed. Neither one of us is ever missing anything as we are only capable of seeing what we are ready and open to seeing.
I know that my vision has grown as my heart, mind, soul and faith have grown. I can see things today that I could not even imagine 5 years ago. I can see things today that I could not see yesterday as my vision increases by the minute as my spiritual condition grows and opens like rosebuds. I no longer get upset about what you see that I don’t, but rather rejoice over what I am able to see.
My prayer for you today is that your soul, mind, heart and faith expand your vision in today and rejoice in all that you can see.
