Carpe Diem

carpe-diemYou are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

He is also known for his fiction The Chronicles of Narnia and The Space Trilogy.

As an active addict I had lost the capacity to set goals or have dreams. I had fantasies that all would be well in some magical manner. As a Sober Rabbi, Coach and Counselor today, I have dreams and set goals and achieve them which reaffirms my faith to keep doing whatever got me to where I am.

What a powerful message for all of us to adopt and adhere to every day we are blessed with. I cannot imagine reaching a point in my life where I have no more dreams. What would I do? I constantly am dreaming about things to do, projects to start, people to serve, places to visit, etc. I may never achieve a fraction of them, but I never stop having them and working toward them.

My dreams and goals certainly change as I age and will continue to change as I age even more, but I continue to see what is in front of me rather than dwell on what I have left behind. I always have the sadness and good memories, but no longer dwell on the “baggage.”

My prayer for you today is that you will find a new dream or goal daily, weekly, monthly or annually and persevere to take it from dream to reality.

I am a modern and independent South Florida Sober Rabbi with an MSW Degree and 23+ years of sobriety providing Sober Coaching and Addiction/Spiritual Counseling focusing on energizing, affirming, motivating, healing, spiritual guidance and personalized life cycle events.

If you, a family member or friend are suffering, call me at 954-755-3764 to get the help you deserve. I can help you!

Hugs and blessings for a joyous day!
