“Never accept the proposition that just because a solution satisfies a problem, that it must be the only solution.” – Raymond E. Feist

Raymond Elias Feist (born 1945, Los Angeles, California) is an American author who primarily writes fantasy fiction. He is best known for The Riftwar Cycle series of novels and short stories. His books have been translated into multiple languages and have sold over 15 million copies.

We are forever being confronted by situations that require us to develop solutions. We explore all the angles looking for that “one” magical answer to whatever the quandary may be. There was a time when I would uniformly reject a solution if it did not have the “perfect” outcome I was seeking.

As a Rabbi and Counselor, I know today that all Roads lead to Rome and likewise, there are many solutions to a single problem. I have also learned that no one solution is “perfect” as the moment I implement it something else is going to happen to disrupt it. Such is life in God’s world.

My prayer for you today is that you open your heart and mind to see the myriad possibilities available to you to resolve whatever it is that requires your attention.

Hugs and Blessings,
Rabbi Mitch
